A visitation will be from 5:00 - 7:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM on Friday, March 24, 2017 at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home & Crematory in Urbandale. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at the Basilica of St. John in Des Moines. Burial will be at Resthaven CemeteryPhan Thi Tin was born on April 26, 1930 in Vietnam. She moved to the United States in 1975 with her children. She worked at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines for 30 years. In her free time, she enjoyed being involved in her church, the Vietnamese community, and spending time with her family.She is survived by her children, Ly Van Hung (Evelynn), Tuyet Duong (Binh), Mai Golbuff (Dan); 11 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
