Philip FredricksonHYDE PARK - Philip J. Fredrickson, 58, an lifelong area resident, died on January 30, 2017 at home. Philip was born on May 25, 1958 in Poughkeepsie. An ace mechanic, he had been employed for over 20 years at Goodyear Tire Co. in Poughkeepsie. Philip, an avid Giants fan, was loved and will be missed by all.Philip is survived by the love of his life, Nancie Messina, at home; his pride and joy, Philip Joseph Fredrickson, at home; Kenneth Lee Jimenez of Japan; his mother, Alice Hoyt of FL; his siblings and their spouses, Jeff and Pamela Fredrickson of LaGrange, George and Mary Fredrickson of Hopewell Junction, William and Tonya Fredrickson of Indiana, and Michelle and Stephen Drevlow of FL; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Daniel and Michelle MacDonald of Wappingers Falls (also his best friends), Abel and Carolee Rodriguez of Glenham, Lee Jeanne Messina and Brandon Baker, and Tina and John Florio of Bronxville; his mother-in-law, Carol Messina; and his nieces and nephews, Kaylee, Justin, Chris, Jaynelle, Sarah, Jesse, Zach, Jason, Maureen, Malia, Jeffrey, Joel. He was predeceased by his father, Philip Nardone; his sisters, Phyllis Anderson and Kim Fredrickson; and his nephew, George Fredrickson, Jr. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction.
