Ramon G RodriguezSan AngeloRamon G Rodriguez, 81, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 20, 2016. He was born on Jan. 18, 1935, to Jose P and Jesusita Rodriguez in Odem, Texas. On Jan. 16, 1959, he married Manuela Sanchez in Lubbock, Texas. They later moved to San Angelo, Texas where he worked in Construction for Cecil Montgomery Co., Jonny Pool Son and Gravel and at Reece Albert Co. until semi retiring and became a self-employed business man working side by side with his son at Danny's Used Auto Parts for 20 years until permanently retiring in 2000. He enjoyed gathering with friends and family to play music on his favorite instruments; standard guitar, 12 string, and the accordion. His love for music will be carried on by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by two loving sons, Raymond Jr. and Simon, his sister, Erminia and his parents. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Manuela Rodriguez; one son, Danny; three daughters, Ester, Delma, and Irma; two brothers, David Rodriguez and Natividad Rodriguez; two sisters, Juanita Rodriguez and Teresa Sandoval (Alejandro); five grandsons, Adrian (Andy), Jimmy Jr. (Jay), Daniel Jr. (Dan), Simon Jr. (Sam), and Joshua; three granddaughters, Amy, Amber, and Abi; four great grandsons, Daniel, Adriel, Eli, and Aiden; five great granddaughters, Anissa, Kianah, Mikayla, Zoe, and Evie; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2016 at Johnson's Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial to follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
