On February 7, 2018, late Wednesday evening, Rebecca Nell (Samples) Wooten, also known as Becky, from Cabbagetown, passed away at the age of 66. Her last days here on earth were spent in her home surrounded by her loved ones. Becky has finally achieved victory by receiving her angel wings. She has now joined her daughter, Marcie Loggins, who passed away 28 days earlier. They are together in Heaven and are no longer in any type of hurt or pain. The both of them are very happy and probably laughing and making fun of all of us.
Becky was survived by her husband, Glenn Howard Wooten. They were just shy 38 days from being married for 39 years. She was also survived by her son, Jody Loggins and daughter-in-law, Debbie, her daughter, Ragen Page, her grandchildren, Christopher, Cody, Taylor, Camren, Carson, Autumn, and Taylor, Kory and Brandon and her great-grandchildren, Chloe, Bryce, Jace and Legend, and her extended family and friends.
As we all know, Becky was devoted and fun loving. She adored her family and Jesus. She was a woman of her Faith. She has touched so many lives in one way or another. Those that knew her couldn't help but love her. She was one of the sweetest, kindest, most loving woman. However, standing at only 4’11”, she was not scared of anything or anybody. Her favorite saying was “Dynamite comes in small packages”. She will always be loved and missed but never forgotten. God Bless you, Becky. (Mama, Granny, Granny Becky, Ms. Becky, and friend)
