Retha (Williams) Shardell Crawford1986 - 2013Shardell Crawford, 27, of Kenosha passed away peacefully on Friday Nov. 29, 2013, at her home. Shardell was born on Sept. 30, 1986, in Kenosha, the daughter of Roberta (Olsen) Williams and Gentrelon Williams. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha, graduating from Reuther High School. She married Desmond Crawford on March 5, 2005, in Kenosha, they later divorced. Shardell had the voice of an angel, she loved to sing and perform. She played the lead role of Annie in a school play, and sang the national anthem at the Martin Luther King Dinner. Her hobbies included singing, performing, writing music, and spending time with her family and friends, especially her children. Survivors include her children, Desmond Crawford, Genesis Crawford both of Racine, Gionni Williams of Kenosha; her mother, Roberta (Troy Daddy) Williams of Kenosha; her father, Gentrelon (Patty) Williams of Tennessee; a sister, Orlandra Olsen of Kenosha; a step sister, Dacia Williams of Racine; a step brother, Troy T.J. Williams of Kenosha; her paternal grandparents, Curlie and Retha Williams of Tennessee; her Granny, Angela Williams of Kenosha; many nieces and nephews; and many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, John E. and Mary Olsen, and uncles, John H. and Dennis Olsen. A visitation will be held on Friday, Dec. 6, 2013, at Kenosha Funeral Services from 5-7 p.m. with funeral services to follow at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials to the family would be appreciated.
