Rhonda Sue (Clark) Thompson, age 42, passed away surrounded by her family on Tuesday, July 12, 2016, as a patient of the DuBois Hospital. Rhonda was born on January 29, 1974, in Clarion, PA. Most people would remember Rhonda as a waitress; for over 10 years she served patrons at the Breezeway Café in Brookville, PA. She then worked as a caregiver for Caring Hands, until she was unable to do so as her health started to decline. She attended the Zion Church in Brookville, PA. Her favorite thing in life was being a mother, and she loved taking care of her girls. She liked to paint her nails and she enjoyed taking her dogs to the river. She collected purses and Rhonda was a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan. At her request, those who attend her services are encouraged to dress casually and comfortable; Steelers attire is welcomed. Rhonda loved all of her family and she looked forward to the family gatherings. She was kind hearted, and a loving mother; she will be missed. Rhonda is survived by her mother; Alberta "Bert" (Harrison) Best; her father Larry "Hoss" (Nancy) Clark; Three daughters, Deanna Thompson, Megan Thompson, and Alexis Thompson; also Mickayla Savard, who was like a daughter to her; former husband Darren Thompson; her paternal grandparents, Bonnie and Ronnie Clark; and many cousins, aunts, uncles, and step-family. She is preceded in death by 1 sister, Heidi Clark; One son, John E. Thompson and one daughter, Katie Thompson. Family and friends will be received on Thursday, July 14, 2016, from 2 - 6pm at the McKinney - d'Argy Funeral Home, ltd, 345 Main St., Brookville, PA, 15825. A funeral service will immediately follow the viewing at the funeral home, beginning at 6:00pm, and officiated by the Rev. Steve Kornbau. Interment will be taken care of privately by her family.
