Raymondville - Ricardo Reyna, was called to heaven on August 28, 2017. He was born on December 12, 1941 to Isidro and Josefa Reyna in Lyford, Texas. Ricardo suffered from cerebral palsy since he was 2 years old. With the care of his family, especially our mother and sister, he lived a comfortable life. He was bedridden and totally incapacitated until he died at the age of 75. For the first time in a very long time he is talking, walking and running in heaven. Ricardo is survived by his sisters, Mary (Arnoldo) Rios, Lupita Reyna, Janie Martinez; brothers, Arturo (Dolly) and Rene Reyna, and cousin Mario Flores. At ths time we would like to thank all of the providers who gave excellent care: Dr. Al Smith, his nurses and Raymondville EMS who always attended to his medical needs and to Father George Kerketta, his staff and Father Greg Speck, who provided for his spiritual needs. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 31, 2017 at Duddlesten Funeral Home with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be celebrated at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 693 N. 3rd, Raymondville on Friday, September 1, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Lyford Evergreen Cemetery, Lyford, TX. Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Tommy, Jamie and Johnny Reyna, Eduardo and Rolando Rios and Eric Carasco. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Duddlesten Funeral Home, 604 W. Hidalgo Ave., Raymondville, Texas.
