Richard Howard Hodson, IIKnoxville, TNRichard Howard Hodson, II, age 58, of Knoxville, Tennessee, formerly of Hopatcong, New Jersey, went home to be with Jesus on Saturday, January 28, 2017. He was born on March 25, 1958, graduated Hopatcong High School in 1976, and graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1984 with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Computer Science. Richard worked at the University of Tennessee library for the past 37 years. He was loving "Uncle Rich" and second dad to his nieces and nephews. Richard is survived by "everyone"; his loving parents, Richard and Maryann (Kehr) Hodson; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jim and Donna Hamilton and Jim and Hope (Diane) Paultre; brother, Douglas Hodson; 14 nieces and nephews; 12 great-nieces and nephews and a multitude of other family and friends. The family will welcome friends at Praise Lutheran Church, 1850 Big Springs Road, Maryville, on Saturday, February 4, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The celebration of Rich's life will immediately follow at 3:30 p.m. with Pastor Derek Roberts officiating.
