RIEGLE, Richard JamesRichard James "Rich" Riegle, 86, a longtime resident of Jupiter, went to be with his Lord and Savior, and have a grand family reunion, on Sunday, October 23, 2016. Rich was born on November 17, 1929 in Clarence Center, New York, a son of Walter Aaron and Iva Ada (Preisch) Riegle. He graduated in 1948 from Parker High School; served his country in the United States Army; and married Ruth E. Warnburger in 1954. He and Ruth were blessed with a daughter, Cathy Ruth Riegle, who was born on January 29, 1956. In 1972 the family moved from New York to Florida where Rich worked until and accident disabled him. Rich and Ruth were devoted to each other during their 28 years of marriage until her death in 1982. Several years after Ruth's death, Rich became an avid traveler with his companion, Mildred Bucholz, until her death. Rich's daughter, Cathy, passed away on March 19, 2014. Due to declining health, Rich moved to West Palm Beach in 2014, where he passed away. Predeceased by his wife, daughter, parents, and a brother, Donald Riegle, Rich is survived by his sisters; Joyce Learned of Niagara Falls, NY, Virginia Lawson of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; a brother, Bruce Riegle of Annapolis, MD; and a host of extended family. A private graveside service took place on Friday, October 28, 2016, at the Clarence Center Cemetery, Clarence Center, NY, where Rich was laid to rest next to his beloved wife, Ruth. Their daughter, Cathy, was laid to rest with them, as well.
