Beloved daughter of Richard Watson and Christine Ingram
Rita Watson, age 69, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on September 8, 2025. Rita was born on March 21, 1956, in Chicago, Illinois, where she lived her entire life.
She attended Tilden High School and graduated in 1974. Rita was a devoted student and always had a passion for learning.
Rita had a zest for life and enjoyed many hobbies, including reading her Bible, studying different religions and cultures , cooking delicious meals, listening to gospel and R&B music, singing, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
Although Rita did not have any children of her own, she was a cherished aunt and friend to many. Her warm smile and kind heart will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Rest in peace, dear Rita. Your spirit will live on in our hearts forever.
