FISCHER Robert William, Jr., passed away suddenly on Thursday, January 5th, 2017 at Carolina Medical Center in Pineville, NC. Bob was born on April 8, 1935 to Henrietta (Merten) and Robert William Fischer Sr. in Bergen County, NJ. He is predeceased by his sister Carol. He attended Bergenfield H.S. ('53) where he excelled in athletics. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, January 12th at 1 PM at St. Matthew Catholic Church (Daily Mass Chapel) 8015 Ballantyne Commons Parkway.
