Robert "Bobby" R. Carbajal passed away at his home on September 21, 2016 surrounded by his family & friends. Bobby was born on March 23, 1944 in Yuma, Arizona. He attended Yuma elementary schools & graduated in 1963 from Kofa High School where he was active in wrestling, baseball, and softball. Bobby proudly served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged. He retired from YPG in 2008 as a heavy equipment operator. He loved his job and his co-workers. In his spare time, Bobby enjoyed playing softball and was in several city leagues. He was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Rita Carbajal. He is survived by his loving wife Claudia Carbajal, his daughter Veronica Gutierrez and son Kyle Carbajal, 5 grandchildren, four brothers Tony, Clyde, James, and Ron, and two sisters Olivia Hernandez and Lorraine Ison. Viewing will be held at Johnson's Mortuary, September 28, 2016 from 5:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Celebration of Life Mass will be held September 29, 2016 at St. Francis of Assisi Church at 10:00 a.m.
