CANTON, OH - Robert (Bob) William Velzka, 85 Bob was born on August 23, 1928, in Racine, Wisconsin to his loving parents Charles and Ethel (DuBuque). He loved his siblings Elaine (Harry) Kintzler, Charles (Donna), and his late brother Donald (Shirley). He served in the Military in the Korean Conflict. Bob married, Mary Jane (Puffer) and later moved to Canton, Ohio. They have six children Debra (Tom) Allen, Susan DeMuesy, Carol (Mark) Swartz, Mary/Janie (Paul) Brown, Patrick (Debbie) Velzka and Mark Velzka. They are blessed with 12 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren with 2 more on the way. We would love to tell you more about Bob, but at 77 cents per word, Bob would shoot us. Visitation will be held at Reed Funeral Home North Canton Chapel (801 Pittsburg Ave. NW) on Sunday, April 27 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 28, 2013 at 11:00 am at St. Paul's Catholic Church of North Canton, 241 S. Main St. North Canton, Ohio 44720 with Rev. Fr. Jeff Stealey as celebrant. Burial will follow in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. A wake will be held in his honor at Lake Cable Clubhouse for all family and friends immediately following his funeral.
