Ruth E. ClassenFREDERICKTOWN: Ruth E. Classen, age 95, of Fredericktown, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Country Club Retirement Campus. She was born on March 14, 1922 in Mansfield, Ohio the daughter of Karl and Edith (Johns) Harick. Ruth worked as a legal secretary for many years, but her love for creating reading cards and candles eventually turned into a business opportunity that she owned and operated in Indiana and Tennessee. Ruth is survived by her son, Ron Darling of Fredericktown, a sister, Doris Schneider of Seminole, Florida and a niece, Cynthia Pate of Seminole, Florida.She was preceded in death by her parents. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 beginning at 11 a.m. at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home, 619 E. High Street, Mount Vernon, Ohio 43050.
