Samuel E. Edwards, 82, died in his sleep on June 18, 2016. He had suffered from Parkinson's disease for the past 15 years.Sam was born on September 17, 1933 in Pittsburg, Kansas. He was the youngest of five children, all of whom are deceased.Sam was a long time resident of Yuma, Arizona and raised his five children here. He is survived by his former wife Helen Shelton, his children: Virginia Edwards, Sam Edwards Jr., Naomi Edwards-Weeks, Vincent Edwards, Salvador Edwards, 10 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren, all who live in the Phoenix area. There will be a memorial service at a later date
