Scott Eugene HowardJune 20, 1959 - March 28, 2015Scott Eugene Howard died peacefully at his Mother's home in Parma, Idaho on Saturday, March 28, 2015 after a valiant fight with cancer. Scott was preceded in death by his father, Walter Howard. He is survived by his Mother, Carol Joan Howard of Parma; His sister Susan Stearns and Susan's daughter, Adriana from Mountain Home.Scott was born on June 20, 1959, in California. In 1968 the family moved to Cedar City, Utah where Scott graduated from high school in 1977. After graduation, Scott joined the United States Navy and traveled the world for four years serving his country. Scott moved to Idaho following his family after he left the Navy. Scott worked as a chef in numerous restaurants, and he went to college studying to become a nurse. Scott moved around for quite a few years and decided to work at the prison in Boise, Idaho where he met his soon to be wife of several years, Ruth Griggs and his two step-daughters, Lisa Fortunato and Angela Fortunato Renstrom.Scott took classes to work on computers and software, and he worked at several different businesses around the valley for several more years. Scott was passionate and skilled at whatever he loved. Some of Scott's passions include: his family, cooking, computers, skiing, fishing, riding his motorcycle, sky diving, and most importantly, his faith. Scott advanced in his church to become the assistant pastor, and he taught many religious classes and bible studies. He helped out many of his congregation and friends spiritually and monetarily.A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 12:00 Noon at the Nampa Airport, 116 Municipal Way, in which a Skydiver's Funeral will be held to spread Scott's ashes.
