Soledad Hernandez, 90, passed Sunday, July 28, 2019. Soledad was born January 25, 1929. She married Ramon Luna, and they lived together in Chicago Illinois.

Soledad is survived by 11 children: Maria Carmen Sandoval (Samuel), Laura Luna (Rodolfo), Magdalena Madero (Alberto), Alejandra Luna, Rafael Gordillo (Maria), Jose Luis Gordillo (Estela), Tomas Gordillo, Alfonso Godillo, Francisco Muñiz, Pedro Rivera, and Antonio Rivera and numerous grandchildren. 

She was very creative and enjoyed knitting and cross stitch. Her happiest times were spent with her family and grandkids especially cooking for them, cooking was her passion. She was an amazing mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was very outgoing, happy and cheerful and met all of lifes adversities with a smile. She was a very hard worker throughout her life and always made time for her family. When home she loved tending her garden as well as making flower arrangements. She will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.
