Tasha Renee Hamand29, of Lafayette, passed away February 15, 2017. She was born on June 2, 1987 to Marcia S. Heifner and James W. Martin, Jr.  She was later adopted by Gary and Judy Hamand of Crawfordsville on December 16, 1998. She attended North Montgomery schools and graduated from faith Christian School in Lafayette in 2006. She had a bright smile, a bubbly personality and enjoyed being around people, especially friends and family. She will be greatly missed by those who loved her.She is survived by: her mother; adopted parents; siblings, Tonya Crabtree (Willard), West Lafayette; Alan Nunnley, Tracy City, TN; Kandi Martin, Lafayette; Daniel Martin, Lafayette; Constance Best (Jeremy), Goodland; James Boardman, Lafayette; Michael Borders, Lafayette; Dustin Borders, Lafayette; Ashley Borders-Rock, Lafayette; Samantha Ferguson (Mathew), Shadeland; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.She was preceded in death by her father, James.Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, 2017 at Liberty Chapel, 3942 West 500 North, Crawfordsville, with memorial services starting at 3 p.m.In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in her memory be made to Half-Way Home, 811 Whitlock Avenue, Crawfordsville, IN 47933.
