Thomas C. Ninnemann, 75, of Ellensburg, WA, died on Thursday, September 20, 2012, after overcoming a number of physical setbacks in the last few years.Tom was born on March 28, 1937, in Plymouth, Wisconsin, the son of Marcella H. (Kirst) Ninnemann and William E. Ninnemann.Thomas attended Salvatory Seminary in St. Nazianz and he graduated from Central High School in 1955. He is survived by his brothers, Jerry (Joyce) Washington and Philip (Terry) of Sheboygan Falls; his children Michael Ninnemann, Gabriele (Tom) Covey, Sharon (Rod) Roethel, Steve (Carie) Ninnemann; nieces and nephews Joseph(Margaret) Ninnemann, Jeff (Kim) Ninnemann, Jennifer (Tom Dresser, Jr.) Ninnemann, Alecia (Denis) Larscheid, Ashley (John) Kelnhofer, Halley Wilsing and Billye Ninnemann.He is preceded in death by his father William, mother Marcella, and a brother David Ninnemann.Thomas served our country for 23 years in Air Force Intelligence. Tom trained in the Air Force as a Missile Systems Analyst, Air Traffic Controller and a Ballistics Missile Analyst Specialist. He served from 1955–1978. He served our country in Germany, Vietnam, Thailand, Philippians and the United States. Tom attended Indiana University, Midwestern University and Sayre Junior College. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and the Sheboygan Rifle and Pistol Club. He was a member of the 433 Tactical Fighter Squadron Bien Hov, Vietnam.A "Celebration of Life" for Thomas C. Ninnemann, 75, in Ellensburg, WA, will be held at the American Legion Hall this Saturday, October 6, 2012, from 2:00 pm– 6:00 pm. Friends and family are invited to attend.The family extends a heartfelt thanks to the many caregivers at Vista Royal Rehabilitation and Yakima Regional Medical and Cardiac Center.
