Thomas Lawrence Terski, age 78, of Oscoda, formerly of Westland, passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at home with family by his side. Thomas was born on Aug. 1, 1938 in Detroit to the late Clemens and Veronica Terski. He retired from General Motors after 30 years. Thomas enjoyed golfing, camping and was proud of his 4th degree Knight designation with the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his loving wife, Lorraine Terski, whom he married in 1964 at St. Andrews Church in Detroit; children, Larry (Sue) Terski of Hartland, Brian (Fawn) Terski of Ft. Myers, Fla. and Michael Terski of Largo, Fla.; siblings, Catherine Terski of Livonia, Daniel Terski of Brighton and Robert Terski of Dearborn Heights; and grandchildren, Krystalyn, Thomas, Ryan and Emma Terski. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Connie Terski and brother, James Terski. Visitation will be held on Thursday, Oct. 6 from 2 to 8 p.m. at Buresh Funeral Home in Oscoda. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, Oct. 7 at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Oscoda with Father Charles Donajkowski officiating.
