It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tonya Jones, who was born on April 11, 1978, in Austin, Texas, United States, to her loving parents David Jones and Linda Blaylock. Tonya peacefully departed this world on January 16, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love and compassion.

She was a devoted mother to her three children, Asia Jones, Zac Jones, and Ashley Jones. Tonya was a proud graduate of Travis High School in 1996 and went on to work for AISD until her retirement in 2016. She was known for her dedication to her students and her passion for education.

Tonya's hobbies included mentoring and guiding others to reach their full potential. She had a profound impact on those around her, always offering a listening ear and words of wisdom. Her kindness and generosity touched the lives of many, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Tonya leaves to cherish her memory her loving Partner, [James] her cherished children, [Asia,Zac and Ashley Jones]; her devoted Father, [David Jones]; siblings, [Reginald Williamson,Shameika Williamson] a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother and brother , [Linda Blaylock, David Jones].
