Torrison R. (Wilson) King, 79, of Raleigh died Monday, Jan. 7, 2019 in Duke Raleigh Hospital after an unexpected fall in her home. She was born June 23, 1939, in Wilmington, NC, a daughter of the late Leonard and Ramona(Sheer) Wilson. Prior to her retirement, she was a licensed practical nurse for 35 years. She was a member of the Hope Community Church-Raleigh. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Emery W. King, and a son Emery W. King Jr.. Surviving are four children Nadia (Ryan) Deerm of Oklahoma City, OK., Ashton (Samantha) King, Raiyna (Hunter) Fremmer, and David King. Many grandchildren including eleven great grandchildren; Julian, Nicole, Brenton, Vixen, Ashton Jr, Tori, Cece, Camden, Shayla, Roman, and the late Keion. Two sisters; Tara Adams, and Donna Rhymes. One brother; Darius Wilson. She also leaves behind two dogs, Shadow and Patches. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at the Hole Community Church-Raleigh. Parting prayers will be held at 9 a.m Thursday January 10, 2019, at the church with a mass following. Interment will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
