ANGOLA — Wanetta Ruth Warring, 86, of Angola died Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2014, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Angola. Mrs. Warring worked at Dana Weatherhead in Angola for 41 years, from 1949 until 1990. She was born on Oct. 7, 1928, in Coldwater, Michigan, to Carl and Florence (Hollis) Merritt. She married Dale L. Warring on July 22, 1950, in Angola. He survives in Angola. Also surviving are a son, Gary Warring of Lafayette; two daughters, Sandy and Robert Baird of Elkhart and Susan and Gary Stroh of Angola; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Joseph Merritt of Central Point, Oregon. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Betty Hopkins. Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Beams Funeral Home in Fremont, with the Rev. Darin Hendrey officiating. Burial will be at Flint Cemetery near Angola. Visitation will be from noon until 2 p.m. Sunday prior to the services. Memorials are to the Steuben County Cancer Association, P.O.
