Wesley Gene Mohr RACINE – Wesley G. Mohr, 77, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at Kenosha Estates Senior Living Center. He was born on Oct. 27, 1936 in Berryville, Kenosha, WI, to the late Catherine (Mueller) and Adam Mohr. Wesley married Janet Draves on Oct. 31, 1959 at Holy Communion Church. They were blessed with 3 sons, Mike, Rob and Chris. Wesley was an avid car and motorcycle lover and ran his own auto body shops for the better part of his life. One of his favorite things to do was riding his motorcycle every Sunday with one of his closest friends. Wes loved music, especially Johnny Cash. He came from a musically inclined family with his 9 brothers and 1 sister. He proudly served his country in the United States Army in 1959 for 2 years. Wesley is survived by his wife Janet; sons, Mike (Joan Graham) Mohr, Rob Mohr and Chris (Beth) Mohr. Grandchildren; Joshua (Jenny) Mohr, Jerhamy Mohr, and Jaclynn (Chase) Vela. Great grandchildren; Jon, Joshua and Julia Mohr. Sister; Leona (Don) Zurawski; sister-in-laws; Joan Mohr and Barbara Mohr. Numerous nieces and nephews. Wesley was preceded in death by his parents and 9 brothers. A Service will be held at 1 p.m. on June 19, 2014 at Gospel Lighthouse Pentecostal Church of God. 1230 6th Street, Racine, WI 53403. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family would be appreciated.
