Wilderene Roberts, of Freeport City, Freeport, Bahamas, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2024, at the age of 70. She was born on March 11, 1954, to Sonny and Ruth Rolle.

Wilderene was a loving wife to Bertram Roberts for 43 years and a devoted mother to her three children: Edward Roberts (spouse Kim Roberts), Patrica Smith (spouse Charles Smith), and Raquel Roberts Chaney (spouse Darien Chaney). She was also a beloved grandmother to 10 grandchildren.

Wilderene attended Hocksbill Highschool and graduated in 1972. She later went on to work at the Rand Memorial Hospital, where she made a positive impact on many lives.

In her free time, Wilderene enjoyed swimming and sewing. She had a zest for life and a contagious sense of humor that brought joy to all who knew her.

Wilderene will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all those who had the pleasure of knowing her. May she rest in peace.
