William “Bill” N. Wendt III RACINE – William “Bill” N. Wendt III passed away on April 3, 2014 at the age of 69. He was born on November 28, 1944 in Pewaukee, WI, the son of William N. and Ethel (nee: Williams) Wendt II. Bill moved to Racine with his parents in 1950. He graduated from William Horlick High School in 1962. After high school Bill worked on a drafting board at J I Case Co. He was later part owner of Northern Technical Services in Milwaukee. In 1982 he owned Wendt’s Gold Record. Bill last worked as a forklift driver in charge of shipping and receiving at D & D Industrial Coating, retiring in 2004. Bill is survived by his wife, Kathi McCallum Wendt, one son, William N. (Renne) Wendt IV of Sturtevant and one daughter, Carolyn (Richard) Null of Racine; four grandchildren, Taylor and Averi Wendt and Brittany and Michael Null. He is further survived by one step daughter, Victoria (Peter) Peterson of Racine, one step son, Robert Cook of Milwaukee, two step grandsons, John Peterson of Kenosha and Robert Peterson of Racine. He was preceded in death by his father, William N. Wendt II and mother, Ethel (Williams) Wilderman. A private service was held.
