Winifred M. Heg1922 - 2014Winifred Heg, 91, of Kenosha passed away on Sunday March 2, 2014 at Brookside Care Center. Winifred was born on July 2, 1922 ,in Kenosha, the daughter of the late Frederick and Henrietta (Bonnama) Krueger. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha. Winifred married Alexander Heg on April 15, 1944, in Kenosha. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Winifred was a homemaker for many years. Winifred was a care giver to her husband, Alexander who had injures during W.W. II. Her hobbies included knitting, crocheting, fishing, and hunting. She was a member of the D.A.V. Purple Heart, and V.F.W. Survivors include her children, Marietta (Henry) Borger of Leesburg, Fla., Frances (John) Woodzick of Kenosha; Frederick (Colleen) Heg of Union Grove, Wis.; many grandchildren; great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Winifred was preceded in death by her husband, Alexander, a son, Rodney, a grandson, Todd Woodzick, and sisters, Frances Paul, Lillian Keloski, and Edna Mae Wisnewski. A visitation will be held on Friday, March 7, 2014, from 10 a.m. 1 p.m. at Kenosha Funeral Services, with a Funeral Service to follow at 1 p.m. Burial Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.Kenosha Funeral Services & Crematory 8226 Sheridan Rd.
