It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ma Rachel Johnson, who was born on August 22, 1941 and passed away on January 15, 2025 in Live Oak, Florida, United States.
Ma Rachel Johnson, also known as "Ma" to her family and friends, was married to Timothy Johnson S.R. in 1986. Together, they raised 8 children: Dana Johnson, Timothy Johnson, Kimberly Johnson, Marcus Johnson, Lisa Johnson, Edward Johnson, Katina Johnson, and Linda Johnson. She also leaves behind 10 beloved grandchildren.
Ma Rachel Johnson attended Miramar High School, graduating in 1972. She then continued her studies at the University of Miami, graduating in 1977. She had a successful career as a Registered Nurse at Memorial Regional Hospital, retiring in 2004.
Aside from her career, Ma Rachel Johnson was actively involved in her church community. She lent her time and support to the Head of Mothers board and Women’s Usher Board at her church organization.
One of Ma Rachel Johnson's greatest joys was cooking, a hobby she shared with her family and friends. She will be remembered for her delicious meals and her loving and caring nature.
Ma Rachel Johnson will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
