A. Louise (Pinto) (Emerick) Rugh, age 91, passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2016, at Ridgmont Assisted Living, in Ridgway, PA. Louise was born on April 22, 1925, to the late John and Teresa (Desento) Pinto, in Brookville, PA. In 1942 she married Donald Emerick who preceded her in passing in 1951. In 1957 she married James Rugh, who also preceded her in passing. After high school she worked for Sylvania in Brookville and eventually she worked for Brockway Glass; she retired as a supervisor from Brockway Glass. Louise was an active member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Brookville, PA, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles, #983, in Brookville, PA. She did many things in our community which included selling Avon, Amway, and Popular Club. She was the life of the party wherever she went and those who remember her contagious energy will also have personal and funny stories to tell because of her shining personality. Louise can be remembered for many things, but above all else, she is remembered for her ability and talent of selling tickets; it didn't matter which church or organization was fund raising, if they could get Louise to carry them, they would be sold. Her memory goes forward in the hearts and reflecting smiles of her friends. Louise is survived by 3 sons; Gary (Rosie) Emerick of Ridgway, PA; Twins, Howard (Norma) Milliron of Cincinnati, OH, and Lewis (Becky) Milliron of Greenville, PA; 1 daughter; Linda Foster of Palm Coast, FL; 10 grandchildren; Dean Emerick, Stacey (Emerick) Grazioli, Janine Emerick, Jodi (Emerick) Duffield, Michael Milliron, Ryan Milliron, Bradley Emerick, Renee (Foster) Donovan, Melissa (Foster) Watson, and Kenneth Foster; 13 great-grandchildren, Zac, Claire, Paige, Tye, Connor, Gary, Lidia, Anna, Matthew, Chloe, Blake, Gavin, and Makenna. In addition to her husbands, she is preceded in death by 1 brother, Tom Pinto; 3 sisters, Marie Weary, Diana Burns, Mary Black; and 1 grandson, Dion Emerick. Family and friends will be received on Thursday, October 13, 2016, from 2 - 4pm and 6 - 8pm, at the McKinney - d'Argy Funeral Home, ltd, 345 Main St., Brookville, PA, 15825. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, October 14, 2016, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 129 Graham Ave, Brookville, PA, 15825, beginning at 11:00am and officiated by Father William Laska.
