Aaron Lynn ColbyHoltPassed away unexpectedly on October 25, 2016 at the age of 40. Aaron was born on March 2, 1976 in Lansing Michigan to Jerry Colby and Susan Myers. Growing up in Holt he graduated from Holt High School Class of 1995 where he was active in the 4H Horse Club. He then started his career with the State of Michigan where he was currently a Supervisor in the Management and Budget Department. Aaron was most at home in the outdoors where he loved to off-road jeep, fish, and hunt. His true love and passion was his family and spending time with them. He is survived by his mother, Susan (Carl) Myers, father, Jerry (Linda) Colby, his fiancé,  Jessica Pierce, grandmother, Maxine Joyce Kahres, brother, Jason (Angie Carter) Colby; step-sisters, Jennifer (Jim) Rogers and Kristin (Mark) Snelson; nieces and nephews, Bailey, Jordan, Hunter, Allison, Jessie, and Emma, Uncle Ed Kahres, Aunt Kristy (Jim) Dunn, and many cousins and friends. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 11:00 a.m at the Palmer, Bush & Jensen Family Funeral Homes, Holt Chapel. Interment will follow in Markham Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends Friday evening from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home and Saturday beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
