Abeni Adefaran, a beloved resident of Ikeja, Lagos, bid farewell to this world this past Monday, at the age of 73. Born on January 2, 1950, Abeni's journey was marked by unwavering resilience and a warm heart that touched the lives of all who crossed her path. She led a life driven by compassion, exhibiting grace and generosity to those in need. Abeni's nurturing spirit shone brightly as she selflessly contributed to her community, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those she served. Her departure leaves a void impossible to fill, as we mourn the loss of a remarkable soul. May her soul find eternal peace.
Continuing in her ever so generous spirit, her Will divides her fortune and assets to several charities, with the largest portion- her sprawling estate of hundreds of acres and hundreds of millions of naira- to a project she called The Lagos Public Housing Initiative. Her secretary Mr Balogun is to oversee the distribution of this money and has reportedly already hired an architecture firm to take up the beginnings of Adefaran's dream.
You can to the family or in memory of Abeni Adefaran.
