It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Abias Crosby, beloved spouse, father, grandfather, and friend. Abias was born on May 6, 1959, in St. Louis, Missouri to Peter and Rose Crosby.

Abias leaves behind a legacy of love and strength in his four children, Sonya Crosby, Maurice Allen, Abias Crosby Jr., and his youngest Shaunta Crosby. He was a proud grandfather to six grandchildren.

Abias attended Berkeley Sr High school and graduated in 1978. He went on to serve in the US Armed Forces, where he dedicated 26 years of his life as an Officer in the Platoon unit before retiring in 2008.

Abias had a passion for fishing, cooking, poker, and spending quality time with his family. He was a pillar of strength and support for all who knew him.

On June 20, 2024, Abias passed away after a courageous battle with Bone Cancer. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Rest in peace, Abias Crosby. You will be dearly missed.
