It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Abiye Ossa, who was born on July 5, 1982, and passed away on May 21, 2024, in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Abiye is survived by their loving spouse, Lubaba Ossa, whom they were married to for 13 years. They are also survived by their two beloved children, Eyoub Ossa and Amen Ossa.

Abiye was the child of Admassu Ossa and Emebet Mengesha. They graduated from Yekatit 12 high school in 2003 and went on to continue their studies at Electric and Technical College, graduating in 2006. Abiye worked at a car assembling agency and was actively involved in the Feed Poor Children organization, where they dedicated their time to helping those in need.

Abiye had a passion for driving different cars and enjoyed spending time pursuing this hobby. Their zest for life and willingness to help others will be deeply missed by all who knew them.

Abiye's passing was a result of a terminal illness, but their memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved them. May they rest in peace.
