Abran Leo Sanchez, 87, a longtime resident of Wagon Mound, passed away on Monday, Jan. 11, 2016, in Albuquerque.He was born on Dec. 23, 1928, to Maria Luisa Sanchez in Wagon Mound.He was an Air Force veteran; he worked as a cook on a resort in California for 40 years. A Catholic, he was a member of Santa Clara Church in Wagon Mound.He was preceded in death by his mother, Maria Luisa Sanchez; wife, Fay Sanchez; sister, Ciria Martinez and brother, Juan Serbando Sanchez.He is survived by his daughter, Roberta Sanchez and grandson, Abran Sanchez, both of Wagon Mound.Rosary service will be at 7 p.m. today (Friday) at Santa Clara Church in Wagon Mound.
