We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Abu Muhammad, who was born on March 29, 1959, in Bronx, New York, United States. Abu passed away on November 8, 2024, at the age of 65. He was the beloved son of Chester and Edna Booker.

Abu leaves behind a loving family, including his two children, Zahkee Booker and Isaiah Muhammad. He also leaves behind a grandchild, as well as many other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.

Abu attended Eastside High School and graduated in 1979. He went on to continue his studies at Passaic County Community College, graduating in 1981. Abu had a passion for playing and watching basketball, playing chess, and being around his family.

Abu Muhammad will be remembered for his kindness, sense of humor, and love for his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

May his soul rest in peace.
