Adaline R. Williams, 84, of Brackney, passed away on Sunday, November 15, 2015, at her home after an extended illness. She was born on February 27, 1931 in Binghamton, N.Y., to the late Benjamin J. and Harriet E. (Rinker) Barney.Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Pam Williams, Nashville, Tenn.; daughter, Margaret Williams, Brackney; sister, Barbara Moriarity, Montrose; aunt, Hetty Rinker, Windham Summit; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her former husband, Raymond F. Williams; son, Arthur Williams; twin daughters, Donna Jean and Diane Joan Williams; daughter, Barbara Williams; sister, Linda Barney; two brothers, Ben and Ray Barney.Adaline was a member of the Hawleyton United Methodist Church and loved her church dearly. She lived at Quaker Lake for nearly 70 years and was a good friend and neighbor to all, including the four legged ones she "adopted." Adaline was good natured, a wonderful mother who was renowned for her baking skill, especially for the church bake sales.A brief graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 17, 2015, at the Quaker Lake Cemetery. A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 22, 2015, at the Hawleyton United Methodist Church, with Rev.
