He departed for basic training at Fort Sill, Oklahoma soon after, his daughter Lucy born while he was away. After finishing Advanced Individual Training (AIT) he and his family were stationed at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Adam served his country with honor with the Group Support Battalion, 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne); ever the dare devil, he was very proud of his many jumps, and his time in the Army.Adam's life will be remembered at a memorial service Friday, November 4th at Basham Funeral Care at 620 Oregon St, Bakersfield, CA with viewing beginning at 0930AM and the memorial service at 1100AM; immediately following the memorial service, Adam will be laid to rest with military honors at Bakersfield National Cemetery, 30338 E.
