Adam Garrett GoodwinRockledgeAdam Garrett Goodwin, 40, went to be with his Lord Jesus Christ on November21, 2016. Adam was born on March 23, 1976 in Rockledge, Florida. He was a Brevard county native and lived on the Space Coast his entire life. Adam had a contagious energy, a generous heart, and a tender soul. He was loved by all who knew him. Adam was a natural athlete and could play any sport with ease. It was swimming where he excelled and he spent his high school years competing as a top-level swimmer. He spent many summers of his youth as a Brevard County Beach Lifeguard, a job he loved very much. As an adult, his passion was for his motorcycles. He loved his many sport bikes and enjoyed riding on both the track and the street. He was an expert rider and was most free and happy when he was on the track. Adam had the kindest heart for all animals. When he wasn't riding he was happiest spending time with his constant companions (and the best dogs in the world) - Jesse and Sadie. He was an accomplished massage therapist and was blessed with hands that healed. His former wife, Michele, was the love of his life. Adam's family will be forever grateful for the years of love and devotion they shared and how hard she worked to keep him strong. Adam is survived by his parents, Gary and Mary Goodwin; brothers Christian Goodwin, P.J. Goodwin and Joseph Goodwin; sister Christina (Goodwin) Stephens and her husband Bill Stephens; his nieces and nephews, Lily and Colter Stephens and Tyler, Sophie, and Greyson Goodwin; his former wife Michele Passamonte Goodwin; and Uncles Adam Kreps and Bob Rulapaugh. His brother Christian was his best friend and they shared tremendous love for one another and an enduring and unbreakable bond. Private services will be held for Adam. We ask if you wish to honor his life thatdonations be made to the Central Brevard Humane Society in his name.
