Adassa Walker, beloved daughter of PaPa Walker and Pearl Currie, was born on June 20, 1937 in Madras, Jamaica, West Indies. She peacefully passed away on May 13, 2024, in San Jose, CA ,due to natural causes.

Adassa is survived by her loving daughter Laurelle Gilbreath and son-in-law Javier Velez. She was a devoted mother who brought light and joy to her family.

Adassa dedicated her life to educating young minds as a teacher. She was passionate about helping children reach their full potential and made a lasting impact on countless lives.

In her free time, Adassa enjoyed singing, reading the Bible, gardening, and sewing. She had a beautiful voice that brought comfort to those who heard her sing. Her faith and devotion to God were evident in everything she did.

Adassa will be remembered for her kind heart, unwavering faith, and gentle spirit. She leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will continue to inspire those who knew her.
