Adela Martinez, 93, of Manela, Bicol, passed Friday, July 26, 2019. Adela worked as a History Teacher in grade school until she retired in 1979. She moved in different provinces of the Philippines. Such Manila, Cebu, Luzon and finally settled back in her hometown.

Adela is survived by 3 sons and 3 daughters: Glendura Martinez (Arcenio Lagas), Marianne Martinez, Gidgetta Golden (Dale Golden) Bernard Martinez, Boyett Martinez (Joanne Martinez)  and Doydoy Martinez. She also is survived by 17 grandchildren.

Adela was married to Augustin Martinez who she lived life with since they were in high school. Got married at age of 18 and later had their first child. Soon after a big happy family was made. Each growing up learning ang gaining something from their parents. Each raised to be strong, independent, smart, kind and courteous.
