Adele Hollins , 100, of Hartford, Connecticut, passed on November 01, 2021. Adele was born on January 27, 1921 In New Roads, La, the ninth of twelve children To Marcelin & Nancy Etienne. After finishing school she entered the US Army becoming an licensed beautician. Upon returning from the military she moved her family to Hartford, CT where she resided the remainder of her life. She was a devoted wife to her late husband Elijah Hollins for 71 years. She was preceded in death by one month by her loving husband & five months by her loving daughter Nancy Elizabeth Hollins Lombard.
She leaves behind her daughter Alexcear Hollins Short & her son Delaney Paul Hollins. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Stacey Paul Hollins, Stephanie E. Lombard, Eric J. Lombard, Tonya M. Short Johnson, Earl V. Short, Jarrod M. Short, Sean D. Short, & Ashley N. Short. As well as several Great grand children.
