Adeline AyarsAGE: 87 • LakewoodAdeline Ayars, age 87, formerly of Lakewood, NJ, passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at the Sunnyside Manor in Wall Township, NJ.She was born on December 1, 1929, and she was the daughter of the late Rose (Ritondo) and Jospeh Erianne. After being raised in Bridgeton, NJ, she was a former resident of Belmar and Neptune, before moving to Lakewood in 1963. Adeline and her late husband Bob were the proprietors of Bob's Meat Market in Lakewood, NJ. She loved to cook, and will be fondly remembered by her family for the Sunday dinners she had. She loved to attend the youth sporting events to see her children, and she loved to watch professional tennis. Adeline was a NY Yankees fan.Wife of the late Robert L. Ayars, Adeline was the last remaining of her 9 siblings. She is survived by her three sons; Robert and his wife Mary Ann, Michael and his wife Kathi, and David Ayars; and 8 grandchildren, Robert, Bryan, Christopher, Ashleigh, Sarah, Lauren, Kristina and David; and 4 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.Visitation will be from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Friday at the D'Elia Funeral Home, 1300 Vermont Avenue, Lakewood, NJ 08701. Her funeral service will immediately follow at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Entombment will be in the St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, Lakewood, NJ.
