Adeline "Addie" Pauline Stein of Yuma passed away on Friday, May 15, 2009, at Affectionate Care in Yuma. Adeline Pauline Elvis Stein was born on December 2, 1932 in Wanamie, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late John Elvis and Ann Stark. She resided in Yuma since June, 1982 after moving to Arizona from Virginia Beach, Virginia. Addie is survived by her husband of 56 years, Carroll (Bert) Stein, Jr, of Yuma; daughter, Linda and son-in-law, Dale Fallert, of Pine Valley, California; son, Jeffrey Stein of Yuma; sisters, Christine Stankevicz of Luzerne, Pennsylvania and Betty Kazokas of Courtdale Pennslyvania; nieces, Karen Kazokas of Ocean New Jersey and Nancy Kazokas; and nephew, Victor Kazokas of Luzerne. Her ashes will be buried at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery in San Diego California. This service will be scheduled at a later date. Donations in her memory may be sent to Hospice of Yuma who lovingly cared for Addie, along with the Durees and staff at Affectionate Care, during her final days.
