ADONNIS HENRY, 56, of Hackensack, New Jersey, passed on June 17, 2023. ADONNIS was born on December 10, 1966 TO Ali Sharif and the late Janet Henry in Hackensack, NJ.He unexpectedly departed this life on Saturday, July 27, 2023.Adonnis was raised in Hackensack where he attended the Hackensack Public Schools. He frequented the homes of family and friends along the entire east coast. Once Adonnis obtained his NJ driver's license you couldn't tell him anything! He brought this little black Nissan that he nicknamed the "Bentley Coupe". He would hangout on "the set" (Haynes Street) and wash that car every single day.He discovered his desire to operate machinery in warehouses, where he held several jobs over the years. He later received his certification as a forklift operator.Adonnis was preceded in death by his m9other Jante Henry and his Stepson Ryan Adonis Travis. He leaves behind to cherish his memories, his father Ali Sharif, Step-Mother Brownita "Sissy" Sharif; 5 children Se'Mara Frasier, Malayah Frasier, Rieona Henry, De'Shawn Cox, De'Quan Cox; stepson, Ramsey Ali Travis; siblings: Atiya Sharif, Karimah Sharif, Ibn Sharif, Donovan Sharif, Jakimah Sharif; four grandchildren: Jace Timmons, Ryan Stephenson, Rylie Cox; Godmother, Jacquelynn Bland; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, aunts, uncles, many other family members and friends, including Debb Veada.
