Adrian Thomas Alba passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2016. A native of New Orleans, he was born on Tuesday, January 20, 1931 to Jeannette Shields and Charles Gilmore Alba. He owned and operated Crescent City Garage on Magazine St. for many years before moving to Mandeville in 2007. The beloved husband of the late Dorothy Robinson Alba, he is survived by two daughters - Jeanne Schmidt (late John Schmidt) and Deborah Mecom (Richard); four sons - Adrian T. Alba, Jr. (Denise), Charles G. Alba, Thomas T. Alba (Teresa) and Gary A. Alba (Brenda); one sister - Anne Shubert; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers - Richard and Charles Alba. All services will be private and are entrusted to E.J. Fielding Funeral Home of Covington, LA. Mr. Alba's cremated remains will be laid to rest next to his wife at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Covington.
