Adrianna Evelyn RandallMay 8, 1919 - May 31, 2017Salem - Adrianna Evelyn Randall, 98, a resident of Salem, OR, passed away on May 31, 2017.Evelyn was born on May 8, 1919, one of 5 children to Luke and Rina (DeBoer) VanHees in Stickney, South Dakota. When she was younger, her family moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan, where she also graduated from high school. The family then moved to Oregon. She worked for a time at the revenue department, and it was there she met Gordon Randall, and they were later married.A homemaker, Evelyn loved flowers and gardening, loved to can (even canning peaches last summer), scrabble, playing the piano. An important aspect in her life was sharing God's love, being a member of Stayton Foothills Church.Evelyn is survived by her son, Larry Randall (Florine); daughters, Beverly Gjonne (Arne), Janet Bare (Bob), Carol Giesbrecht (Gerald), Linda Frank (Steve); grandchildren Christi, Becca, Robin, Rhenn, Taylor, Jamie, Jeff, Jennifer, Colleen, Adrianna, Debbie, Sherrie, Jack. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon, and her siblings.A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 6 at 2 pm at Restlawn Memory Gardens. Remembrances may be made to the Oregon Blood Bank Infusion Center. Arrangements are entrusted to Howell, Edwards, Doerksen with Rigdon-Ransom Funeral Directors.
