Afzal Salim, a beloved member of the Dallas Islamic community, passed away on November 8, 2024, at the young age of 25. Born on April 8, 1999, Afzal will be remembered for his kind heart, infectious smile, and positive impact on others. He was known for his passion for helping others and always had an optimistic attitude that brightened the lives of those around him, in addition to being an avid ambassador for Islam amongst his peers. Afzal's presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His impact will continue to be felt in the hearts of his friends, colleagues, and the community he touched during his time on this earth.
