The family of Sessekou Arrey-Mbi Sammy in Atlanta, Georgia, wishes to announce the untimely death of their Daughter, Mother, Sister, Wife and Aunt, Agnes Ebangha Arrey-Mbi, which occurred on December 18, 2018, at the Southern Regional Hospital. She was 42 years old.

Mama, as she was popularly called, was born on September 23rd, 1976 at the General Hospital Mamfe, South West Province, Cameroon.

She graduated from Government Bilingual High School, Bamenda in June 1997 and immediately relocated to the United States with her entire family in August the same year. She joined the United States Navy in 1999 where she served two tours in Afghanistan on the Battleship USS JF Kennedy. Mama left the Navy to pursue civilian life and her last job was as a Security Officer with Securitas Security Company in Atlanta.

Mama will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, selfless giving, sweetness of heart and everlasting smile that she gave to everyone that came her way. Ebangha would rather go hungry than see anyone around complain of anything. She will be greatly missed by the family and all her friends. Mama, we love you endlessly and the void you have left behind will never be filled.
