Agustin Gonzales LUBBOCK-Funeral mass for Agustin Gonzales, 84, of Lubbock will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 7, 2016, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with Monsignor Jim O'Connor officiating. Interment will be in Peaceful Gardens Cemetery. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m., today, Sunday, Nov. 6, 2016, at Guajardo Funeral Chapels. Mr. Gonzales passed away on Nov. 4, 2016, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on Sept. 15, 1932, in Lubbock. Agustin married Adelfa on Oct. 16, 1954, in Crystal City, Texas. She passed away on Aug. 23, 2002. Agustin was an avid Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers and Texas Tech fan. He liked to fish and enjoyed all of his grandchildren. Mr. Gonzales is survived by one daughter, Criselda Gonzalez; five sons, Guadalupe, Raymond, Agustin, Jr., Joe and Isaac Gonzales; 17 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Adelfa; two sons, Valentin, Sr., and Francisco, Sr.; and one grandson, Francisco Gonzales, Jr.
