We are gathered here today to mourn the passing of Aida Valadez, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and educator. Aida was born on February 20, 1958, in Arlington, Texas, to her parents Chon Gomez and Jovita S Gomez.

She married her husband Michael Valadez in 1998 and together they raised three children, Luis Rubio jr, Monica (with spouse Robert), and Richard. Aida also leaves behind seven grandchildren.

Aida dedicated her life to education, working at Houston High School for many years. She was known for her passion for teaching and her dedication to her students.

Despite her many accomplishments, Aida will always be remembered for her quick wit, her infectious laughter, and her love for her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Rest in peace, Aida Valadez. May your memory live on in the hearts of those who loved you.
